Jakarta, 20 September 2022, JETRO Jakarta and Indonesian Ministry of Industry held a business matching event regarding product and material treatments affecting environment in Jakarta. 6 Japanese technology providers participated in introducing their technologies. According to both institutions, this business matching event in the green sector is the first event held offline.
The event was held in the Ministry of Industry building. The participating buyers are 35 Indonesian companies.

Kawasaki Gas Turbine Asia (KGA), a subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, also participated as one of the technology providers. Hidehiko Minami, Head of KGA Jakarta talked to NNA, showing the desire to have a chance in building relations with customers under the difficult condition of COVID-19. He also stated that he is interested in Indonesia’s transition to gas from coal, that he is keen on matching with industries that use coals and oleochemicals.

A company involved in environmental energy projects such as the development of new fuels using nanotechnology, Nanofuel Co., Ltd. (Kawasaki) also one of the technology providers. Nanofuel Senior Advisor Hiroyasu Ishiyama, introduces the liquid biomass power generation business using non-edible palm oil as a substitute for diesel power generation fuel, and the liquid biomass power generation business using biodiesel and glycerin by-product. The company also promoted its liquid fuel stirring equipment, which reduces the use of petroleum fuels.
As one of key industries in Indonesia’s palm oil production, Ishiyama, on behalf of Nanofuel is looking to make use of the company’s nanotechnology. He revealed that Nanofuel plans to build a factory based on nano glycerine fuel. He also revealed that Nanofuel has partnered with Kowa Emori (Fukui) and international business consulting company AAI (Kurume, Fukuoka).
For buildings and factories in Indonesia that heavily rely on air conditioning systems, Musashi Paint Indonesia introduces its insulated paint technology to reduce power consumption in Indonesia. According to President Director Manabu Kobayashi, compared to regular paint, this insulated paint can lower room temperatures by 5 degrees.
Mitsubishi Electric Indonesia Factory Automation Senior Executive Manager, Kugutsu Takahiko stated that the company specialises in energy efficiency visualisation of factories, therefore, it is looking forward to meet the needs of Indonesian companies. He also showed desire to build relation between Japanese company through this event.
